BR Kenilworth parade: no national Dems

Anyone else go? 2/3 floats were politicians it seemed, but no Dems, especially Landrieu or Edwards.
Obviously it's cheesy but why ignore that constituency completely? Do they hate the 4th of July?

No dem parade floats? Yep, the dems hate the 4th of July.. Nothing says neighborhood 4th of July parade like US Senators using it to campaign.
