On the heels of his enigmatic rookie season, the second-year pass rusher resurfaced at the team's OTAs this week as a hulked-up behemoth.
After clocking in at 248 pounds at the 2013 NFL Scouting Combine, Jordan took the field Tuesday at a beefy 265 and looking "like he took an air pump to his arms and shoulders," per Armando Salguero of The Miami Herald.

@Mathieu_Era: What's up with all of these performance enhancing suspensions?

It's way to soon but it was an atrocious pick by Miami. They had one of the best DE's in football (Cameron Wake) and a good up and coming DE (Olivier Vernon) on the opposite side and the OL that was already a weak spot had just lost Jake Long in free agency. When they up from #11 to #3 I presumed it was to get Lane Johnson. So what do they do? They take a guy they don't need who was also injured. Meanwhile, Johnson goes #4 to Philadelphia. They could have moved up to #10 or #11, gotten Fluker or Warmack and not given away a mid 2nd round pick. fricking Jeff Ireland!

They don't play for the Patriots, and only the Patriots cheat.

A source tells ProFootballTalk an appeal hearing on Josh Gordon's suspension has been scheduled for late July. Gordon reportedly faces a minimum one-year ban as a Stage 3 violator of the league's substance abuse policy. The hearing could be canceled if the NFL and NFLPA work out a deal to reduce the suspension. Nearing two months since the Gordon suspension saga began, it appears an end may finally be in sight.
