How stupid does one have to be in order to meet a terrorist online and agree to go fight in a Jihad and be their personal cum dumpster?

Shannon Maureen Conley was arrested in April while trying to board a flight to Turkey with the alleged goal of meeting up with members of the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria group, also known as ISIS.
According to a criminal complaint filed with the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado, Conley conspired to commit an offense against the United States.
When questioned by officials, the teenager freely admitted that she wanted to use her American military training to wage jihad on the U.S., CBS Denver reported.
Conley told investigators she liked the idea of 'guerrilla warfare because she could do it alone.'

As that article describes her, she appears to be a confused "ugly-duckling" looking for attention and a purpose in life. She needs psychiatric care. Don't know about prison.

I'd agree with the former if she weren't so fricking stupid.
If you know you're talking to feds, you don't confess to stuff that gets you terrorism charges. It's not like she was talking to a guy in a bar she thought would slip her the Jihadi juice and it turned out to be a cop.

Which leads me to believe the former. She was probably enjoying all of the attention she was getting and decided to just ham it up. Like I said, I'd keep an eye on her and try to figure out WTF her problem is.
