Anyone listening to the Garland Robinette show?

They just had Planned Parenthood and a Doctor on at the same time. Apparently Planned Parenthood didn't know they would be on live with the Dr so they opted out during the first commercial break. This might not be thread worthy but this was the first time I've been listening and this happened. She seemed very terrified in the couple minutes she was having to go back and forth with the Dr before the commercial break and was saying she wasn't there for a debate and Garland said that they had her on basically just for that.

What did Garland want the Planned Parenthood person and the doctor to debate about?

Not laughing at killing babies...laughing at the fact that killing babies is even a debatable subject.

She said I'm not here for a debate and he said, well yea you're here to state your opinion and the Dr is here to state his opinion, this way the listeners can be informed. They went to break and then.....SHE GONE!

She'll turn it around on her next public statement claiming she was ambushed by those evil men.

They said the Dr didn't agree until late and they had e-mailed her telling her that they would be on at the same time but apparently she didn't get it. If she is well versed and confident in her stance I don't see what difference it makes. Probably because she couldn't just repeat the talking points PP had given her

I did hear it, and I was not really surprised, because most liberals really aren't a fan of a debate, they like to just say their piece and move on.
It was unfortunate, though, because they were hitting an interesting topic. The Dr, who was part of the pro-life crowd, was saying that pregnancy begins at fertilization, and thus, the drugs/devices that prevent implantation of a fertilized egg, is indeed abortion. Whereas, the PP lady said that implantation is the start of pregnancy, therefore, these drugs/devices at issue are not abortificants (or whatever the word is, basically, they don't cause an abortion).
This is an argument I've heard a lot from my leftist friends the last couple of days, but I don't know why.
If one is pro-choice, then they clearly believe a woman has a right to an abortion... so who cares if the particular drug causes an abortion or not?
If they were being intellectually honest, they would come out and say, yeah, the IUD causes an abortion, but we think that's ok, so whatever.
I would have a lot more respect for them if they said that, then this song and dance they currently have, where they are saying the IUDs and other certain drugs HL did not wnat to cover, were really contraceptives that are no different than other ones.
