So the SCOTUS decision is now a war on the poor?

I'm seeing this meme pop up. When someone says that people are free to purchase their own insurance if their employer provided insurance doesn't suit their needs, the response is now "poor people can't afford to purchase their own plans."
Wasn't the Affordable Care Act supposed to fix this? Were we mislead?

I dunno but this would mean a war on 3 fronts, yes?
Already a war on the rich and middle class.
This should round things out I guess.

These things are getting nuts.
His actual quote:

being forced to purchase is a financial loss for the employee, which qualifies as an "injury" under any legal analysis.
It isn't an "injury" for any private individual though? Only for employees? It is insane.

Pretty much, every family is averaging $4500 less in discretionary income under Obama. It really doesn't matter which class you are in, what sex, or race....we all have been screwed, if you work, that is..

I didn't believe it until I just read his thread this morning.

Since when do poor people work at Hobby Lobby ?
Posted on 6/30/14 at 9:38 pm to OldTigahFot
I guess that's the assumption. Now that you mention it, that is rather insulting to assume that the Lobby employees are poor.

Nah. It's more of a means to troll far left radicals into complaining about a government decision to control their health care.

True, but a good portion of the Democrat base does not fall into this category.

I'm confused. Are they joining the decades-long war on poverty? Or are the waging a new war against the poor?

Damn, I need to sue my employer because they only provide me a salary and not physical goods like food and clothing. I am suffering a major "injury" because I have to purchase those things with my own money.
