Weekend rewind: ghetto party, brony up and bowling with a typical poster

Crazy weekend. I woke up Saturday and started pounding the Beam. I wanted to be a little lubed for a party in the 9th Ward, which had a dj, water slide, home cooking and the works. We pulled up and it was a jungle out there. Weeds were as far as the eye could see.
But low and behold there was an awesome water slide and dj. The dj was playing classic r&b w/ a couple of bounce songs thrown in.
As far as refreshments, they had a nice selection of Heineken, crown royal, pineapple juice and those juices we had as children. They even had a fancy ice chest.
They also had red beans and hot dogs. The beans were a little salty for my taste but still very good. I credit the saltiness to the 5 lbs of pickled meat.
After having my fill of food and beverage, I decided it was time to brony up. The towel was very comfortable. I can see why so many dudes get behind this movement.
The party was a success. I then went home to do some more drinking prior to our dinner plans.
On Sunday, we went to mass, Lafitte's and bowling. At the alley, I think I ran into a poster, but I'm not sure. Do any of you know this guy?
Until next weekend, keep the dream alive.

Man I hated those little containers of juice as a kid.

Ain't a true party until you break out the pickled pigs feet and DJ drops some brown beats or big Freeda

I think the guests were shocked by my knowledge of black music. I have to thank DJ Captain Charles for his entertaining radio shows.

I need more friends in the lower 9. I can't think of one at the moment. Closest I get out that way is I got a friend that lives next to the quicky on Franklin. I never seem to hit the bridge on Claiborne.
