Noticed this on the SECR front page:

Jordan Hare Stadium

Auburn basketball coach Bruce Pearl posted a photo of his team honoring the Tigers’ football program by running Jordan-Hare Stadium. Good for you coach, just don't host a barbecue after...

Tiger Stadium's old west upper deck, replaced in 2007

IMHO, they should carry the look of the SEZ addition forward along both the east and west sides. The new overhang gives more bang for the buck up top, where you need it.

That could mean room to widen the concourses up top....

When I visited there in 2012, I thought the exact same thing. Clemson's upper decks are very similar as well

What I noticed about Auburn's field is how close the seats are behind the goalpost. Just doesn't seem that close at LSU.

Just take down that ugly rebar and replace it with tinted glass. It will look a thousands time better.

It is not very difficult.

That was the original rendering

It would look 1000x better, but I still don't understand the tan bricking and lack of arches

The south end zone is as close, our north end zone has a bit of a curve.

But Tiger Stadium win hands down over Jordan Hare Stadium as far as how close the sideline seats and upper decks are to the field....

JHS

TS

...Auburn's JHS, like a lot of the other stadiums in the SEC and around the country, suffer from pronounced sideline curves that create a lot of dead space between the stands and the field. And since the upper decks follow that same curve, those seats as well are placed further away than is the case for the same seats at Tiger Stadium.

It's as if you placed end zones on the sidelines, except it's completely dead space.
