I don't understand why this show never caught on with a lot of people. It is probably my second favorite HBO show ever.

Same here. Really sucks this is the last season AND it will be abbreviated. It's been my favorite show running since it premiered.

Dammit, I'm so pissed this is the last season. Haven't seen a show in a long time that I've really been invested in even the minor characters.
HBO would hit a homerun if they could do a spin off with Capone, Luciano, and Lansky with those same actors. But I know it's not happening.

only 8 episodes? Man there was so much more they could have done, now I wish they had just never had the Jimmy storyline and only done stuff regarding organized crime

Agree with everything being said here. This show is just starting to hit its midpoint stride with Eli and Van Alden both now in Chicago, Al rising to power, everything going on back in AC with Chalky and Nucky.
Frick HBO for cutting this show off early yet letting True Blood meander on into weirdsville for years. I guess at least be happy they didn't Deadwood it.
