The Sims 4

Have been watching a lot of videos and reading some articles for the next installment. It looks incredible but them leaving out toddlers and pools in the base game is the main gripe. All of the create a sim stuff I have seen looks great but I wish they would release a gameplay video.
Release date is September 4th for PC only. I've been needing a new computer for a little over 6 months now and this game will probably be the thing that pushes me to buy one.

This, Steam and a lot of other games. This was the straw that broke the camels back I guess you could say. I have a few laptops in mind but I think I would rather have a desktop. Haven't had one since I was a 13

I've crunched some numbers and with screens, a desk, and a nice chair I'm looking at around $1200

I'm not so much as mad that pools and the toddler cycle will be left out as much as I am at the way they feel they'll make it up to us
So thanks for the 20+ packs of expansions that I'll have to buy. I'm looking forward to The Sims 4: Water Sports and The Sims 4: KIDZ!

How are pools not available? That makes zero sense.

The graphics don't look any better than 3.

They're not supposed to. They made it more cartoonish in order for it to be able to run on lower end PCs. I think the new look looks great but I can see why some don't like it.
