Honestly, as much as it will pain me to see Mexico go on, I would love to see every European team get knocked out this round.

This... but it also assumes we get to the semis, which isn't super likely.

the melt down of beating Mexico in the semis though..... Imagine Alabama losing to Auburn but now multiplied by the magnitude of an entire COUNTRY's psyche, culture and identity. Mexicans would probably be psychologically broken for the next three years.

Agree. If you have a chance you always screw your rival. The U.S. got nothing out of beating Panama. They almost created a monster. Had Mexico won today they could have very well made it to the semis if not the final. They played pretty well and their side of the bracket was very winnable. However, the way they lost today was worth it.
