Hello anchor babies. Just make it across the border with a kid and you're good.
I find it interesting how the use of "anti-immigration" rhetoric is so detrimental, yet somehow people from across Central America believe it to be an open-door policy.

The group accuses Republicans of using "harsh anti-immigrant rhetoric," and says the party is using the large influx of child immigrants coming from Central American countries as an excuse not to act on immigration reform.

The group is pushing for the Obama administration to expand a 2012 program that allows some children brought to the country illegally to be de-prioritized for deportation. The group wants the program to include the family members of those children as well.

More than 52,000 unaccompanied children have filtered into the country from Guatemala, El Salvador and Honduras this year as crime in the region increases and misperception about U.S. immigration policy has made them believe they can stay in the United States.

Immigration activists plan to occupy House office buildings on Friday to protest GOP posiitons on illegal immigration. United We Dream, a youth-led group that supports expanding protection for illegal immigrants, announced members would protest inside the Rayburn House Office Building at 12:30 p.m.

The House is not in session on Friday, however, and most lawmakers have returned to their home districts for the July 4 recess.

Well i heard just this morning that one of those Anchor babies has the swine flu! They need to send them all packing back across the Rio Grande. Or let them loose in a Liberal city.

Ain't gonna happen, as much as it should.
The Obama Administration has been curiously choosing purple or red areas to drop these individuals, such as Texas, San Diego, and Long Island. They aren't dropping them on Harry Reid's doorstep in Las Vegas or Nancy Pelosi's doorstep in Marin County.

A phone and a pen...looks like Barry used the phone.

It's almost as if there's an intent here...

Exactly. I used "curiously" rather than say "the entire fricking point of this is to flip those areas."
I wonder what the self-proclaimed "third highest-ranking Republican on TV", Rep. Peter King of New York (Long Island) has to say about this.
Useful idiot probably doesn't realize that "reaching out" on this is going to get his district flipped blue due to demographics.

I'd imagine this is the same mindset of people who argue that mass shooting gun deaths need immediate attention also. Gun deaths - gotta stop it now. Illegal immigration - no big deal, let 'em come.

Good to see people waking up to this.
Now be prepared for the smug lefties to come here and call you a racist or xenophobe.

Our Government isn't helping to dispel this narrative

Understatement.
It's not proven yet WHO is doing it, but SOMEONE was running ads in Central America pushing this story.
Considering that DHS was advertising for people to help with up to 60K underaged illegals *six months ago*, it sure sounds like the Obama Administration intentionally created this situation to force "immigration reform", a PC way of saying "amnesty", as an issue.
I don't think they were expecting resistance on this until the reveal of all the illegals helped kill Eric Cantor's career.
