That was either staged from top to bottom or the dad was caught with his pants down.
I'd love to hear what a body language analyst would say after watching that video.

IDK. I'm a dad and his reaction looked understandable to me. Kids run away and show back up all the time.

I was thinking runaway too. Kid is gonna get the belt tonight. Watch he'll end up on Nancy Grace again for disciplining his kid. I am now interested in the barricade that kept him in the basement, and did anyone actually go in the basement? Some big org's to lie on, truth should come quick with that.
