For what it's worth, I can't find competent people to fill all of the entry level labor positions I have open.
I fired one today when I caught him vaping on the clock while working in the clean room. That's at least 3 levels deep of stupid that I can't even wrap my head around.

Have a friend in the IT business, he has been unemployed now for 5 months, he has only had 3 interviews in as many months. He is all over the place trying to find a job, in Denver, in his field.

nope. I didn't get my first job until 2012. I could count the number of callbacks from 2008-2011 on one hand.
