Where do you see more flops, the NBA Playoffs or the World Cup?

I was watching the alleged biting incident in the World Cup, and the Italian player went down like he'd been shot after getting bit on the shoulder (allegedly). Suarez went down immediately afterwards and rolled on the ground like his clothes were on fire.

I'm not a soccer fan, but the World Cup reminded me of the NBA playoffs as far as flopping goes, but maybe worse...

World cup easily.

Not only are there more flops in quantity, but the "quality" of the flops are better too (in a bad way).

More often than not:

In the world cup they are usually legitimately tripped then pretend to be hurt.

In the NBA they pretend to get tripped/hit but dont act injured.

Apples and Oranges to me.

World Cup players make all NBA players look as tough as Ronnie Lott.

World Cup.

It's like an international sports convention for pussies.

World Cup: 9 players have been taken off the field on a stretcher so far.

5 of them returned to the match within 90 seconds.

Can we get this on the Soccer Board please?

I don't like soccer threads cluttering up the MSB. It infuriates me to such a level that I'm forced to post in this thread instead of just ignoring it.

Flops resulting from some form of actual player contact:

WC ---> All
NBA ---> Very few

Not sure why you keep using "allegedly." There were pretty clear bite marks on the guy's shoulder.

That's rich. It's the World Cup easy. You might see a couple good flops a game in a playoff game. You'll see 30 in a WC match.

Reading comprehension: Flops arising from actual contact.

WC and it's not even close. And I love the WC, but that crap is so annoying.
