Mississippi Schools Test Scores

As I stated last night in another thread, I have the QDI for every Mississippi school. I will be happy to post if you are interested in a particular school.
For example, Madison Central is at a 222.
How does QDI work?
At its basic core, imagine this:
0 - complete dumbass
1 - basic performance
2 - proficient, grade level performance
3 - advanced performance
Add up the numbers, divide by number of students and multiply by 100. Like the RPI, there are a few small penalties/bonuses, but this is the basic formula.
If the subject is the Civil War:
0 - would look at you funny and tell you to frick yourself.
1 - Could tell you North vs. South, 1861-1865, Abraham Lincoln assassinated at the end, Robert E. Lee.
2 - Can speak intelligently about major battles and generals. Could tell you that Vicksburg was the turning point and tell you about Sherman's March to the Sea. This is where most students should be.
3 - Can elaborate and analyze what the War did to America. Can talk about Reconstruction and its effect even today. Could go to a battlefield and visualize things.
So, a school like Madison Central would have one "3" for every three "2s"
180 is about the minimum that I consider a school doing a decent job. That's essentially 4 proficients for every basic. Anything under 160 is awful.
