Projector problem

Have a projector in my garage that has worked fine for a year now. For some reason now some channels, espn for one, are not full screen HD but look kind of letterboxed and poor definition, while others still look full screen HD. Have the projector through reciever and direct tv. Any ideas? Was hoping maybe the kids just hit a button or something.

Connect the DirecTV box to an HD LCD television. If it looks perfectly normal on the TV, then the issue is the projector settings.
