Serious question. How many are required to and have pictures of the Pres and VP?

I know the SS office does. The Post office... etc..

Some Federal courthouses do.

Many post offices and government buildings do not. It's not a requirement.

Many of them are required to take them down at certain points. According to the Hatch Act, federal employees are required to take down pictures of federal employees seeking election, which meant Obama's picture had to come down as soon as he announced he would seek reelection.

They're supposed to - he's the top of the executive branch.

Military units do it, too.

I don't think they're supposed to anymore. They used to get sent out to federal buildings every year. I think you have to request them now if you want to hang them up.

We should just go to a flatscreen monitor. That way you just send a signal to change out president instead of spending money on photo paper, frames and people time to hang it.
