Winning is much better for the game of golf than Tiger coming back. She is who ever junior girl looked up to. Even the juniors that are playing now on tour. Would be great to see her win.

I'd like to see Wie win a major too. But what does anything that's going on in the Women's Open have to do with Tiger coming back? The Tiger hate really flows through you if you think the golf world will care more about Wie winning the US Open than Tiger returning next week. You and I might be more interested in seeing Wie win, but get ready for a full week of Tiger slobbering by Golf Channel and ESPN.

But seriously. Watch the few highlights the showed from today on sportscenter. She was putting and her arse looked like it was as big as a barn. In a good way.

I was watching her do that live...it should be a requirement for the LPGA players to putt like that.

Except maybe Danica Patrick winning a Nascar title, there is no situation where a sport benefits more from a woman winning than the most popular male counterpart.

No one cares that the US women have already won 2 world cups, but if the mens team somehow were to win this summer it would replace the miracle on ice as the most patriotic sporting event in our country's history.

How many different Olympic sports did you think of before you decided volleyball was the funniest one?

Just realistic. I think it would be great to see her win just bc I remember her getting so much shite 10 years ago on shows like PTI and around the horn.

The "game of golf" wouldn't really change from her winning though.

I didn't say it was funny. I think the women draw a bigger crowd than do the men.

Probably true but not my point. There is no woman or team of women that could win a title/medal that would benefit the sport more than a male counterpart.

In the example of volleyball that's bc no one cares about the sport. The interest level in the sport would not alter one bit regardless of who wins.

*unless of course someone like Kate Upton manages to become a great volleyball player.
