Can I chlorinate a 9'x5' inflatable pool? I'm getting tired of draining and refilling it every other day. Is there some reason I couldn't sprinkle a little in and stir it up some?

It's not going to eat the plastic, if that's the question.

What's the worst that could happen? It melts the plastic and you have to lay down the cheddar for a new 9' x 5'

Well yeah, that'd set me back a whole paycheck.

I didn't know if it'd eat the plastic, or just not work without a pump system, or cause an explosion.

Definitely won't eat the plastic, and pump systems are purely for circulation and filtration, which you don't need with such a small volume of water.

Explosion? Ha. It's like putting bleach in your washing machine.

Just leave the hose in the bottom of the pool. Every time the kids go play just turn in on and leave it on. And boom.. Infinity 9x5 blow up pool. Plus the water will be fresh and the grass, bugs and leaves will float over the side.

Disclaimer: I'm not a pool boy. I just play one at your mom's house.
