Is the guy at the 4-way by Seigen Lowe's actually working for Wounded Warriors?

Just drove by and had to stop at the 4-way in the middle of the shopping center. There is an older guy out there saluting every car and handing out those little plastic American flags. He has two small Wounded Warrior signs, but his uniform looks like he got it at the Army Surplus.
I don't mind dropping some coin for WW, but this guy didn't look too legit. I thought they would have a better setup than that, but what do I know?

He just does it on his own. I sat with him one weekend in that Wendy's on Seigen and he told me that he actually doesn't do it for the money. More to just get the word out. People do give him money but he swears he gives it right to the foundation. He was in Vietnam if I remember correctly.

Well thanks. He isn't getting a dime from me then. I can tell you I donate $4 million a year to homelessness, but does it really happen? frick no
If I remember when I get back to New Orleans, I'll shoot WW an email about him. He should not be representing them at all if he just takes the cash and "donates" it.

He would probably stop giving out flags if he stopped getting money
