Going for next week to Lake Nantahala to do some fishing and stay in a lake house. Night time temps going to be around 59 with highs in the low 80 s. With low humidity should I bring some sleeves.

I was in Asheville about a month ago. It was completely comfortable in the mornings without sleeves or long pants.

I was in the highlands last week. Highs depend on where you are, valleys are about 5-10 warmer.

Highs were 72, lows 58. Tshirt and jeans was all I needed. surprisingly 58 didnt feel too cold.

Love Ashville, take the blue ridge parkway if you can. So pretty.

Sitting here right now in the Asheville area with fans going and doors/windows open. Very nice. Got a little warm during the day yesterday, but nowhere near like LA hot.

Should be even nicer in Macon County.

I recommend the waterfall tour along Hiway 64 (east toward Highlands), and a meal at Dillard House in Dillard, GA - just south of the NC state line along Hiway 441.

Haven't been since I was a kid, but I remember the breakfast spread being something to behold.

It's been a few years for me as well, but the same family runs it from I've heard, so it stands a good chance of still being pretty good.

Nah, you'll love it. 80's with sun is still plenty warm. 60 at night isn't uncomfortable.
