You see open carry.

Needless to say, all of the patrons were well behaved.

Especially the children.

Open carry wouldn't be a problem if it was the norm... but the kind of person who would open carry in this cultural environment is probably a little questionable.

Seemed like a nice family man, with wife, 5 kids. Interacted with his kids and wife, seemed like a stress free group.

I see open carry all the time in AZ. Never a thug.

My favorite was Santa Claus on a Harley in Dallas. I sees Santa(definitely this guy's Christmas job) wearing leather, beard blowing in the wind on the freeway... With a fricking Dirty Harry hand cannon strapped to his thigh glistening in the sunlight. Awesome sight.

My first time was as a relatively young drunken officer in Stuttgart during Frühlingsfest in 2009. I behaved myself on St. Paddy's day a few weekends before that.

That weekend in April was a rough one. I do remember the guards at the Mercedes-Benz museum calling me a cab after I hopped the fence and asked them to redeem my tokens.
WWII has bought us 70 years of [generally] goodwill in Europe.

It's so common in my area that I can honestly say I forgot the first time I saw it. That kind of happens when you grow up in a small town with a population of 800 too. And our guns never killed anyone believe it or not. We must have gotten the broke guns.
