Restaurant Recomendations: Niagara, ON - Lake Placid,NY & Stowe, VT

Taking a trip to the North East with the wife (no pics) and NO KIDS with stops in Niagara, ON - Lake Placid, NY & Stowe VT. Any restaurant recommendations?

I can only offer info on Stowe. Hen of the Wood and Michael's on the Hill are solid choices from what I remember. Both are in Waterbury, (about 15-20 minutes depending where you are staying in Stowe) but Michael's is right next to the town line between Stowe and Waterbury and has a nice view if you are able to request it. If your wife is in to it, you can go to Trapp Family Lodge for a meal as well. They have a lunch/pastry place and a dining room. It is more of an atmosphere place than anything else.
