Voodoo is 70-100$ cheaper compared to hangout, ACL, bonaroo, counter point, Hulaween. This should be considered when being comparing. I got early bird for 99$, so it comes out to 33$ a day. That's a deal to me. Nobody I'm dying to see, but I can feel that cool October breeze now. I will miss Friday, because I will be trick or treating with my 3yo daughter. I would be interested in seeing any of these:

Outkast
Skrillex
Pretty lights
30 seconds to Mars
City and color
Fish bone
Fuel
Herobust
Givers
Wild cub
Flow tribe
Astr
Lindsay lowend
Soul rebels
Trombone shorty
Crass mammoth
The wild feathers
The ton tons
Always down to go get weird at la plur.

Yeah, but you have to pay extra for camping or else the band won't play a good show

I'd pay, at most, about 50 bones.

You'd have to pay me $33 to go see Flow Tribe.

Overall, you make a good point though.

With a lineup that stacked, just about anything that happens won't affect how awesome it will be.

Sorry homer, if that's what you got out of what I was saying then you need to touch up on your reading comprehension

Voodoo didn't sell single day tickets last year. Any word on this year? I really only have interest in seeing 5 bands on that lineup.

Sturgill Simpson is the main reason I'm going to Voodoo.

The girlfriend wants to see a few other bands.

Voodoo may not be a great festival but it's cheap and it's live music. I've paid WAY more to go see single bands playing weekend runs

I always read that as 130 dollar sign. Dude that's 1st grade stuff.

Anyway

Phases of the Moon is $230 and that includes camping.

Best festival of the year and best value.

A weekend of tripping in that park is what the doctor ordered.

I'm assuming Voodoo has Late Night shows? Is it the same as Jazzfest where the late night shows are a lot better than the actual festival itself?
