For those who have played, how many seasons in do you have to be before playing in the world championship? Curious because the game does not keep the same schedule as the World Cup it seems.

Well if the team you manage qualified then the 2nd season. Every 4 years after that

I guess I'm a little confused. Playing as an American, and I have qualified for the team and played in friendlies, but I have never seen "news stories" for the world championship draw or even the tournament, despite being in late 2015.

Well when did you get selected by the team? The next cup won't be until 2018

In the first season, I thought...but maybe not. I still think I would have noticed games being played in the headlines and news section even if I hadn't been selected though.
