Power outage around Dome since 3:30am

Entergy needs to put some money into it and fix the problem. They obviously didn't fix it correctly last time.

The infrastructure is pathetic. We run our grid on a dated system of wood poles and lines. Most technicians from out of state are astounded to see how antiquated it is. Oh but Entergy will still keeping sticking us with the Katrina Charge, going on 9 years now.

No offense, New Orleans is a great place to visit, I just couldn't live there. Not saying the infrastructure in Baton Rouge is any better either. Hell, it took a Federal judge to tell them they had to upgrade their sewage system. Still paying for that one too, and when it rains the toilet won't flush...
Maybe it's just the culture of the state to have bad infrastructure. Who knows.

by no means am i invoking BR being superior. Theirs is total shite too. most of the state is for that matter.

atleast you aren't in north la. We didn't even lose power and we are paying the damn charges for Katrina, but if it goes over 93 degrees the power goes out. freak Entergy!
