Which team sport can a bunch of avg. guys best hold their own vs. pros?

Idk about "avg guys" but college baseball teams play pro teams every year and they're close games. Although they use metal bats vs wood. But my best guess would be rugby. I don't know how much skill goes into it.

Maybe lacrosse. I don't know schemes or anything, but it seems like you can pack it in on D and force outside shots.

Rugby is highly dependent on talent and skill. Regular guys would get destroyed.
