I'm enjoying the debate greatly. Be wary in this thread though.

I have a love/hate relationship with GRRM. The honest trailer was spot on when the guy said "We really hope the creator doesn't eat himself to death before he finishes writing the books."

The use of the words "Ser Willem is a good man and true, but not of the Kingsguard. The Kingsguard does not flee." I think is pretty definitive text that shows what really went on there.

In all seriousness, I legit think that GRRM had originally planned for Rhaegar and Lyanna to be revealed as Jon's parents, but now that most people have figured that out, I think he changes it. To whom, I don't know, but that sneaky fat bastard will do something to frick with us.
