Fresh Junkie Salads & Wraps opens today at 10 am located at 303 North Baton Rouge.

They're a little behind schedule, but if you want a healthy lunch option downtown, give them a try.
Premium, organic, natural, and most importantly FRESH ingredients. The lettuce on your salad or wrap walked into our doors this morning. The chicken was marinated for 24 hours and cooked on our ripping hot grill. The dressings are all hand made and chef designed to give you the best flavor for least amount of calories. We are made of the things that most food chains would never think of using. We only put what's best for us into us and we want you to too.

• Your post(s) will be whacked if you:o “Spam” the board, i.e., attempt to sell goods or services, or direct users to commercial sites, without prior authorization from board management.

Awkward phrasing

Kinda...they have been around for a while. Its been a roller coaster for a while. They have had a food truck too.
They used to have a location on Main Street I believe.

That poster definitely isn't the owner.
Fresh does good stuff. I just wish they'd look beyond downtown. I've been on him for years about that.

The best sushi roll I've ever had in Baton Rouge came from their food truck.

All about the benjamins. If you're friends with Pat on facebook, go read his post last week.
I know the desire is there to open multiple locations and really extend his brand more into racing and the difference communities in Lafayette, NOLA and other areas of BR, but he needs some cash flow.
He really believes in the people he has with him and his idea, I can only hope their is a true desire for good, healthy fast food out there. I know I want it, but I am in the minority.

I used to stop in the Main Street Market location about once a week when I worked Downtown. It was solid. Plus given the dearth of solid options in the area, well...

Oh, I know. He was *this* close to getting a location going in the Perkins Road overpass area. But apparently that location was in dire need of a trophy shop instead.

Good stuff. I ate at the Main Street Market location a lot when I worked downtown.
They had a location open in one of the United Plaza buildings for a little while.

Forgive me if it has already been discussed, but will the Market location remain open? With the new location on North Blvd. you're looking at two spots within 4 blocks of one another

From what I understand, they will keep both locations open. Shoot, you have two Subways in downtown BR.

What if you have a really slow day and you have 8 perfectly good heads of lettuce unused, do you not serve it the next day? Or is that statement just an exaggeration.

Take it outside and walk back in the next day.
