I recently left state side and flew to Germany then over to Afghanistan. I just wanted to inform frequent travelers that Tmobile doesn't charge for roaming. I have 3G coverage here in afghan, I had it in Kuwait, had 4G in Germany. I am able to text, search the web, FaceTime, and call at no extra cost to my current plan which is costing me around 60$. Over 120 countries are covered on there global coverage. Tmobile has really upped there game recently. Just some FYI.

Do it. Coverage is just as good as the next network and imo better than sprint. Stateside my wife would not have service while I would have 4GLTE. Also 5GB of tethering as well at I believe no extra cost. Tmobile is the best kept secret. Not to mention calling over wifi.

About to do the same. Reading the OP's positive reception quality is making me trigger happy to make the decision.

I may make the switch today.

I've got a few months left in my verizon contract but won't they buy me out?

I've been with tmo since 99. Overall they have been really great. What they are doing now is changing the industry.
