LeBron has to opt out, it's the only way they can right the ship

The Heat are hamstrung by player options. If LeBron opts in, Bosh and Wade certainly will as well.

At this point, Wade 100% opts in IMO. He is getting old and won't get more than his player option.

LeBron holds the cards to this whole deal. He has decision 2.0 coming up.

Knicks where he should have gone the first time

I actually might have pulled for him but he had to be a bigger douche and do the super friends stunt.

Why? What was it about their situation that was better than the Heat when it comes to competing for titles?

Him taking over a historic franchise and rising them from the ashes is mega market would have been pretty cool. Not all teaming up to ride coat tails of each other. not 3 not 4 not 5

hes lucky to have 2

Knicks haven't had a draft pick in what, five years?

I don't think they could of afforded to sign Chandler with Bron on the team either.

LeBron won't be back in Miami, he is done.

He had to carry the team in the regular season, it took too much out of him.

And I think LeBron is being a little racist not wanting to team up with Kevin Love.

Love would not fit the Heat defense well anyways.

I was saying elsewhere.

I truly don't believe LeBron will be on the Heat next year.

Love: I try not to read it. A lot of it is brought to my attention through outside sources, sometimes twitter. But like most people, I need to be conscious of my image and try to roll with the punches. I know that’s a generic answer. I don’t think the Cleveland [trade rumors] are outlandish at all. They have a great young foundation.

the difference is that, IMO, this is Wade's last chance to make money. He isn't going to opt out, no matter what anyone else does. He's gonna make his $40+ million the next two seasons.

Lebron could sign a contract for the 2016/2017 season for more than what he's making now. Bosh might be able to sign a contract for the 2016/2017 for close to what he's making now.

Dewayne Wade worth by 2016/2017 will never be close to what he's going to make the next 2 seasons. IMO, there is a 0% chance he opts out. Unless he just hates money.

Like him or dislike him it says a lot that the standard for mocking him is saying he won't be the greatest basketball player ever.
