Take the batteries out of your controller, unplug both the video and power plugs from the back of the Xbox, do a quick safety check, and throw that motherfricker against the wall as hard as you can.

Your Xbox might be dead unless you want to get it repaired. LINK

Bump for help.. microsoft wants $80 to fix it plus i pay shipping. A place in abita springs repairs them and it cost me $60 plus shipping on my end. Also found a xbox 360 online with no cords, remotes, or hd for $60 and free shipping. Obviously just buying the 360 for $60 shipped is the easiest/fastest route. what do you suggest?

i have saw many videos online saying put something in the fans to stop them and make the system overheat. Then it will repair its self.. anyone do this? Does it work? Any other help please. Thanks
