Camp chaperone question: roommate designation for gay kids

Church, band, sports, etc. camp chaperoning- how would the OT designate room assignments for the gay kids? You wouldn't put boys and girls in the same bunks but do you just let slide with the gay kids? Would you seperate them from each other? Would you bunk them with other hetero kids of the same sex? Would you do nothing at all?
Just curious what the OT's opinion on this is?
(I'm talking about openly gay kids not kids you suspect to be gay)

Teens, and I'm talking room designation, not large multi-bunk cabins. 3-4 kids to a dorm room.

I think that boys and girls rooms would work ok. I mean unless they've got no self control over their desires, it shouldn't be a problem. Plus, if you made four different designations or a boy, girl, gay/lesbian room designation, I'd think realistically that there's going to be surefire whining from the parents or teens.
