I'm headed there tomorrow with my brother for my first trip over there. He's been a few times. Anybody been catching?

Been good reports the last couple of days. Trout might be finally moving into the area.

Hoping to get out there Saturday.

If the specks are moving in at big lake how long do we have till they move into vermillion bay arround the cove?? Just curious can't wait to tear them up in the paddle board!!!

Ok. Sounds good. See I'm new arround here and the cove is only thirty mins a way. I've been there a few time so I'm really just trying to get to know an area good before trotting off to another place. And I like the fight of a red and to me they good eatin

Yeti,

Care to give a fellow Big Laker and alumni of your current institution some tips?

Find clean water (south end), find a reef with bait on it, throw whatever you have confidence in and you'll catch fish. Fish when the tide is moving. This past week the tide hasn't moved until 1230 pm, so the afternoon bite is where it's at.

I'm probably be going out there tomorrow at sunrise. Probably take a lunch break then head back out for the afternoon.

Good luck to everyone heading there
