Maybe councilwoman Chauna-Banks Daniel can pick up the slack that Deedy was filling.

Deedy Slaughter.
Elected Mayor of Port Allen and then recalled less than a year later.
She basically got the keys and the checkbook to PA and started hooking herself and her people up as soon as she was sworn in. She also didn't really try to hide any of it. She was really, really stupid.
It was funny when the local media would ask her questions about her expenditures on herself and her family you could tell by her answers that she had no idea that raiding the city coffers was not ok.
