Another rock/metal venue bites the dust.

A lot of good memories were had here when I was in high school

Doors 6pm PS: We are now booking for June & July. We are also working on one final blowout show with Myka Relocate for the end of July. More details once they get confirmed. If you and/or your band would like to perform at The Cypress, then these two months will be your final chance. All inquiries for bookings must be done via our email address. Any other means will not suffice. After August 6th the venue will be torn down due to the redevelopment of the area by the city.

That place closed and reopened a bunch of times. There's no way they were making any profit. Surprised it lasted this long. I only went there once, seemed like a crappy place anyway. It was a teen club so its not like I was gonna go there in the future.

It was an all ages club, they didn't sell alcohol. There were very few people over 21 when I went. Average age was probably 17 or 18. The bands they booked typically appealed to that age group so most older people wouldn't have gone anyway.
