How would you rank the most reliable news sources based on transfer rumors

BBC and Sky are about all I'll even remotely think of believing

I think it's hard to say because different papers have different reporters who have more sources and credibility.
Since I'm a Liverpool fan, for them, Tony Barrett with the Times is usually pretty reliable. He might not always be the first to report something, but he's also not someone who typically risks his credibility for some BS rumor mill

There's really no such thing. Only believe something when your club announces it. Also, never, ever read the DailyMail. They are absolutely terrible

It's really hard to take anything all that seriously.
The best you can do is try to separate those that just outright make up conjecture from journalists like Gianluca Di Marzo, for example, that actually do attempt to report based on sources.
However, even when one is reporting based on sources you have all the "intrigues" of agents/clubs perhaps feeding fake scoops to drive up interest or simply that a deal which seemed certain hits a last minute snag for whatever reason.

i did a tier system for English media awhile ago but i can't remember what thread it was on.
1st tier
Times - if they actually report something, it's going to happen
2nd tier
Guardian, Telegraph, etc - they generally have decent info, but it's fed to them so fairly frequently their reports of interest are just serving some club/player's purpose
3rd tier
Daily Mirror, etc. - a mix between 2 and 4. some of them have decent sources, but again, they're always being used. they also make shite up sometimes
4th
goal, caught offsides, daily sun - they're just out here making shite up
