So the COMMANDER IN CHIEF doesn't have final say so in the negotiating of prisoner exchanges? Give me a frickin break.

This is fascinating. The number of times these people have used the incompetence defense is mind numbing and yet, their supporters seem to love the incompetence defense.

Now, we are supposed to believe that the FINAL decision on a prisoner swap(of ANY sort) rests with the damned Secretary of Defense?

Come the frick on. That's either true(which is absolutely retarded) or another lie. Frankly, the former is WORSE than the latter.

The administration must be trolling at this point. I can't recall the last time I've seen an issue handled so poorly.

Perhaps Obama can declare he learned about the trade when he saw himself on TV with Bergdahl's parents.

You mean like the healthcare.gov rollout? Or maybe the "government shutdown"? Or the "fake IRS scandal"? Does anyone have a RESET button?

I have never seen anyone moon walk away from responsibility as fast as Obama. He enjoyed saying "obamacare" after it was passed but refers to it as the Affordable Care Act now.

Pretty bad.

"government shutdown"

GOP ate the lion's share of the blame on that one.

"fake IRS scandal"?

The White House has so far gotten through that one pretty unscathed.

I'd like to see some Congressional Hearings to get to the bottom of this Bergdahl matter.

We need hearings.

I'll call that one a draw. Had they not closed things like the White House tours just to punish folks, they would have had much better ground to launch rhetoric from. Seeing the veterans removing barricades didn't help the administration's profile much.

"So far" indeed. Some new points have come out that get very close to linking the President (but I think he still has a layer of deniability). While Wilkins' meeting with the President just 2 days before the crackdown on conservative groups began is curious, I doubt there is anything written down that would implicate him. Stll, I think this will end up being a big enough problem for his legacy.
