Would he be a fit with our young up and comers?

Obviously this has nearly ZERO chance of happening, but one can dream.

I think he'd be a great mentor for AD and Tyreke, but he would more than likely screw up the mesh between Dru,Reke, & AD with his need for the ball.

Also how would his salary effect our books if he was to be amnestied?

Would put more seats into the arena and sell jerseys

That's about the only positives

Only players that were under a contract with a team AT THE TIME of the last CBA, and are still with that team under that contract can be amnestied.

Kobe has signed a new contract since then. I'm pretty sure the last of the contracts that can be amnestied are coming up.

no he would just be an old injured player that would eat up cap space.

He and EG could be friends on the bench and at the rehab clinic in LA

If by fit you mean totally destroy the Pels young core, then yes, he would fit.

I think its a long shot but: say Spurs win this and Lebron decides to leave. We could use a player like Ray Allen to lead our young team. He is still very talented and might want to go out with a bang. I don't know what the trade would consist our team would benefit.

Not asking for 48 minutes out of him. Give him a player mentoring type gig with about 20 minutes a game. He can work with holliday, rivers, gordon, and evans. Retires and gets an assistant coaching job somewhere.

But he is better basketball player then everyone of those players but only in spurts.
