Good printer for printing photos

Hey guys, I need to pick up a new printer, and I'd like to get one that is capable of printing good photos of all sizes. What specs should I look for? dpi? Is one brand better than others for doing this? Thanks.

Seriously, between Walgreens and Shutterfly, why waste your money?
Get yourself a networkable printer, skip the high DPI.

Not worth it. The cost of ink + paper compared to the emailing a having them mail back to you is not work getting your own printer.
but if you insist HP makes some pretty good printers. With the ink printers you can probably only print about 10 pictures before you run out of ink.
