Kevin Love does not want to play in Cleveland, according to ESPN.com.
The Cavs have some ammunition to acquire Love, but it wouldn't make much sense to make a deal for just one season -- similar to the Lakers and Dwight Howard. The Celtics, Bulls, Kings, Suns, Lakers, Warriors and Rockets are believed to be the main teams in on the Love sweepstakes.

Kentucky coach John Calipari reportedly declined a seven-year, $60 million deal to become the president and coach of the Cavs, according to Yahoo! Sports.
Wow. Coach Cal accepted an extension worth $52 million over seven years with the University of Kentucky earlier this month. The Cavs just hired David Griffin to the be their general manager and have gone after some big-name coaches since that hiring. They're going to want to hire someone before the NBA Draft later this month.

I'm shocked. Stars were just lining up to come to Cleveland even when LeBron was there.

Even Jim Brown wouldn't go to Cleveland if he were given a second life.

Cleveland is awesome, but this has nothing to do with the city. The cavs are a terrible franchise right now. I wouldnt want to spend the prime of my career here at the moment either.

All the cav fans on here that were predicting a mass of players going to Cleveland need to get their heads out of the clouds.

Irving is leaving, lebron nor love is going there and whoever you get with the #1 pick will either suck or leave as soon as they have a chance

Why they were offering so much damn money to Cal. He's got ties to a ton of quality players around the league and is the right kind of guy to talk Kyrie out of leaving.

They are screwed if they frick up this #1 pick.

Hopefully. He is perhaps the most overrrated player in the league. I would like to trade him before the season starts.

Is definitely coming back. The question is whether it is for this contract or the one to follow.

I'm confused, why is the sports world not completely disgusted that Kevin Love is publicly trying to force his way out of Minnesota?

D-Howard or Melo does it, it's disgusting. Kevin Love does it, it's a footnote.

Them getting assets for him is 10x better then him just walking away.

They've missed the playoffs every year he has been in the league and there is zero proof that they are getting any better.

someone needs to tell mr newton that love isn't staying and that they need to trade him to get something back. if love hits free agency, I fully expect him to be a laker
