What truly amazes me about the backlash over the prisoner swap is this. Does no one in the entire administration understand public perception? These guys were the master media manipulators on the road to the White House and now look to be the most inept of modern times. How in the hell does someone not say "boss we think there are some issues here, go easy on the hero bit" or "his fellow soldiers think he is a deserter and traitor, lets keep this as quiet as possible" I mean frick, a no comment or two can save having egg on your face down the road.
This bunch can't put one foot in front of the other without stepping into a pile of dogshit, it really is embarrassing.
Perhaps this can be a lesson to future Presidents to surround yourself with capable help instead of party hacks.

It's not that they don't understand it. To the contrary. They just think that their Komrades in the mainstream media can make it go away by only discussing their ineptitude in terms of mocking anyone who questions their Messiah (see, Benghazi, Fast & Furious, IRS, ObamaCare Lies, etc.). This is the first time the mainstream media can't carry their water -- not that they're not trying. Just like pure sh!t, they're throwing every trial balloon out there to see what sticks. But, nothing is.

To answer your original question -- this administration is the most incompetent and inept of anyone's lifetime. But what do you expect when you elect someone with a Messiah complex who has never held a real job in his entire lifetime and has gotten everything in his life handed to him strictly because he's half black.

Definitely the most corrupt, least transparent, most arrogant, most racist, most dangerous, and biggest threat to our liberty.

I am not sure it's inept, I think it's more don't care. They've got the media and they just don't care. Easily the worst in my lifetime.

He's been no more inept than Bush jr., Clinton, Bush Sr., Reagan, Carter, Ford, Nixon, Johnson, and Kennedy...all the presidents of my life time.

They all committed ridiculous blunders.

For example, invading the wrong country, Lewinsky, read my lips no new taxes, Iran-Contra, Malaise, Poland is not communist, Watergate, Vietnam, Bay of Pigs.

Careful there. The Reagan worship is strong here.

I'm a Reagan fan but "I fail to recollect" ranks right up there. Reagan did not make near as many mistakes though. I don't remember any president stepping on his dick as often as this one, regardless of political affiliation.

The emperor hasn't had any clothes on for quite a while. If Barry was a pub, it would be cast as the most scandal ridden administration in history.

They are surprisingly adept at doing dumb shite and then failing miserably to spin it. The President and his people spend more time standing on their own peckers than any admin in my lifetime. Their political victories rarely look good.

The difference is the vast majority of the media has and is pro Democrat! If we had a true non-bias press overall, the Democratic Presidents would definitely not have fared so well in public opinion! The mainstream media has been forced kicking and screaming into the current screwups by Obama because he has been the most inept by far of all of them.

It is of mine, only with Carter a close 2nd, but he wasn't as destructive to the country.

So Bush getting us in a useless war that cost the country trillions and the lives of thousands of our brave young men and women ranks better than Carter?

Obama has been bad, but no worse than Bush. Iraq war and lack of action while the economy tanked was unforgiveable. People forget how Chaney/Rumsfeld/Rove ran roughshot over the country.

LBJ was POTUS when I was born, and while he was pretty bad, inept even, I'm not sure he fits the bill - certainly Nixon was "inept" from 1972 on. Carter was pretty inept. From Reagan through HW Bush there were flashes of competence, brilliance, and scandal - to varying degrees shown by those administrations.

The current administration seems oblivious to a general awareness of its techniques and relative unpopularity of its policies. Obviously the last 2 years should be relatively quiet after its party loses control of the Senate in November.

This administration is quite inept. its really quite pathetic, its like they only talk to themselves and not other people.

With that said, GWB, GHB and Carter were pretty inept too. Its hard to honestly assess, I might say GWB was more inept since they fricked up iraq and that is the biggest error since bay of pigs IMHO.
