Why are majority Premium Channels not HD (COX)

I'm paying $16.99 a month for HBO. That's like 10 crappy fuzzy non-HD channels and 2 HD channels.
What kind of bullshite is this about. Who even watches TV that's non-HD nowadays.
Seems like just another way to rape their customers.
I'll be canceling all this shite come Monday.

My parents' cable is through Cox in New Orleans. They have probably 12-15 premium HD channels.

Yeah they have all that on Cox. I don't subscribe to premium channels though cause I can just download all that.

Where are you located? Baton Rouge has 8 HBO HD channels on Cox.

I only had 1 non HD HBO channel...
the other 8 or so were all HD

Comcast only gives me 1 HBO channel in HD...but I only pay $5/month so it's fine by me when I can just play anything in HD On Demand.
