I have about 10 '30 For 30's' on my DVR that I'm trying to catch up on. Watched 'The Bad Boys' last night, and I really enjoyed it.

After winning back-to-back (89, 90), the Pistons were losing their edge, as the Bulls were getting ready to take the league over. When the Pistons were moments away from being eliminated in the ECF, they walked off the court to avoid shaking their hands and acknowledging them.

Some might say this was a total bitch move. Others might think that this was both a sign of the times and refreshing how teams back then did not like one another.

Any thoughts? Also, would it be refreshing if a team did this nowadays? Or is this poor sportsmanship?

They stole that move from the Celtics when the Pistons beat them in the ECF.

Today it's walking off the court without shaking hands.

Bitch move, you don't have to like eachother on the court, but show some class and professionalism when the series is over. Walking off the court without acknowledging the other team is poor sportsmanship. Then again, they already had a reputation as a team nobody really liked so it was just part of their DGAF persona

The bitch move was walking off the floor BEFORE the game was over.

It was awesome. The Pistons did not give a single frick. They hated the Bulls (and everybody else, too) and they despised losing. It was their last middle finger to everyone.

Classless? Sure. But we could use more genuine sports villains. Laimbeer's "They won" interview after the game was also perfect.

Can't believe a Bulls player sitting on the bench didn't stand up and laugh at them as the Piston's bitch walked off the court right passed them. That would have been alpha as frick

Is this why Jordan & Thomas didn't get along? I watched something on ESPN about Jordan's only condition on joining the Dream Team was for Thomas not to be on it. Was it just because they hated each other on the court or did it spill over?

So awesome that the teams leader in Thomas ducked behind Laimbeer as they walked past the Bulls. Beta as shite.

I'm a poor sport, I can understand not wanting to shake hands. I hate losing, and I wouldn't want to piss on their victory when I could be getting my shite together to win the next time.

MJ and IT never got along even before this incident.

MJ lobbied for IT to not be on the dream team over his hate for IT and over the fact that IT said he wouldn't play on the same team as Magic because of the HIV.

Rumor was, that was due to the "freeze out" in the All Star Game in which Thomas supposedly was the mastermind.

On the deal with the Boston guys walking off a couple of years earlier, yes, they did do that, but on his way out McHale sought out Isiah, shook his hand, and you could tell from his mannerisms that he was basically passing the torch.
