If something comes of this my guess is it won't happen until blatter is up for reelection and doesn't run and the new guy changes the venue.

Blatter actually voted for the American bid. He's only implicit in this for twiddling his thumbs while this became a bigger and bigger scandal by the day. And...you know by saying that gays shouldn't be gay at the World Cup.

The sponsors would much rather see a world cup in Europe, Japan, Or the US. Better time zones more eyes on the TV. Probably more money to be made with the world cup any where other than Qatar.
