What height is considered 'tall' for men and women?

I'd say 6'2" before a guy can be considered tall.

I'm 5'10" and some change and have been called tall on a few occasions. I don't agree but at least I'm tall enough not to be considered short.

6 foot is above average but not tall. Id consider 6'2 and higher "tall"

I'd say a man needs to be >6'0" to be considered tall.

A woman needs to be >5'8" to be considered tall.

6' is NOT average. I would given up my left hand if I could have been 6'. It's not "tall" either. I'd put "tall" at about 6'3" - 6'4" or so.

I just don't consider 6 foot on a man that tall.



To me...tall means you are taller than average.

id say 5'9-6" is considered "average" for men. i would say you arent considered "tall" till about 6'2

for women 5'4-5'6 is avg tall starts around 5'9

ETA: im 5'11" fyi
