No XI, just 18 players, like in a CL list for a match.

- Keepers:
Thibaut Courtois (Club Atlético de Madrid)
Manuel Neuer (FC Bayern Múnich)

- Defense:
Diego Godín (Club Atlético de Madrid)
Philipp Lahm (FC Bayern Múnich)
Daniel Carvajal (Real Madrid CF)
Pepe (Real Madrid CF)
Sergio Ramos (Real Madrid CF)

- Midfield:
Gabi (Club Atlético de Madrid)
Andrés Iniesta (FC Barcelona)
Toni Kroos (FC Bayern Múnich)
Ángel Di María (Real Madrid CF)
Luka Modric (Real Madrid CF)
Xabi Alonso (Real Madrid CF)

- Attack:
Marco Reus (Borussia Dortmund)
Diego Costa (Club Atlético de Madrid)
Arjen Robben (FC Bayern Múnich)
Zlatan Ibrahimovic (Paris Saint Germain FC)
Cristiano Ronaldo (Real Madrid CF)

Not one player from a team that was a half away from the final and allowed the fewest goals until that point? Seems legit.

Which player on that list would you replace with a Chelsea player?

Pepe, Carvajal, or Lahm for Cahill or Azpilicueta.

not in CL this year.

But i would think that Cahill or Azpi would have made it. Dunno who I'd take off though

Well Lahm plays on a team that has to defend about 20% of the time and they conceded more goals than Azpi who defends about 60% of the time.

Also off the top of my head I can think of two assists Azpi had in the knockout rounds and he was versatile enough to play right and left back and even left midfield.

I'm not bashing Lahm or saying Azpilicueta is a better player but he was a beast in the CL this year which is all this list is supposed to entail.

But your post made some good points...
