I just wanted to say how dumb ESPN is and why the frick can't they do like other stations that broadcast sporting events and put on the closest regional baseball game near you. I know during the NCAA tournament it use to be this way. Now it is on 5 different channels or something on cable TV so its easy to watch whichever game you want.

The big part that is pissing me off is what makes Texas/Texas A&M deserve the ESPN2 or ESPNU slot? It should be broadcasted in the regional viewing area. For instance if we got a California game instead to view that wouldnt make sense because we could careless about whats going on out West, when we have to work out tails off to watch our closest regional game on ESPN3....

I just think its dumb and ESPN should take more thought into some of the ways they broadcast their games to make it easier on their viewing audience. They will attract more viewers this way and can get onboard with the technology of the current era.

off my soapbox...

What's really stupid is ESPN choosing to show the "Rice" Regional exclusively on ESPNU, considering all the games Texas plays are being shown on the Longhorn Network too. They should have just put that Regional on the Longhorn Network to avoid having the same thing on 2 channels.

Hell you don't need a computer, I've been watching every game from my phone and I've been watching a shite load of other teams on my phone.

IPad, computer, ROKU w/e....it shouldnt be that difficult for viewers...CBS and other broadcasters make it easy on the viewer and they get their ratings...

ESPN wants to be the "best"..well why not take advantage of these opportunites in times like this

I hooked my phone up to my projector, I don't get the hate. Some folks need to remember praying your AM radio signal would hold!

yep. Especially with 3/4 teams in that Regional being Texas teams. Texas, A&M, Rice, and George Mason.
I don't mind watching off ESPN3, but if you're going to have the Longhorn Network, put their games, especially if they're playing another Texas Team, on just that channel, not ESPNU as well for NCAA baseball Regional weekends situations like this.

I'm more surprised that the two dumbasses in the booth have jobs than the regional being online only, honestly.

What does cbs have to do with college baseball regionals?

Also please elaborate on exactly how you would like espn to put EVERY regional game on tv.

I know someone with extended basic cable tv and no internet. They use to be able to watch. Now, not at all. Thanks ESPN, Cox, and LSU.

We just have to accept the fact that there just isn't a big enough draw in college baseball. Don't get me wrong, I know WE are PASSIONATE about it, but the majority of the country just doesn't care.

Trust me, if ESPN thought it would make them money, they'd be showing it.

The bigger story is that you know someone without internet. Not even dial up?

THIS!

I'm only 35 years old, but we used to rig up something to hold the rabbit ears just to get Fox. We had 3 channels with antenna and 2 more with rabbit ears up until I was 15. Everyone is too spoiled now.

I don't have internet. I have an air card for work. Its works will work for this but I have no reason to pay for internet. I have Direct TV and thats it. I spend all day on a computer, when I get home I do stuff outside or work on my toys.

Are we actually suppose to feel sorry for someone living in 1983?

The coverage has been the best it's ever been and Bases Loaded is absolutely amazing. Anyone who relies on the cable providers to watch regionals anymore is stuck in the past.
