I like the genre, and I finally got around to watching this yesterday (never seen it before). I didn't really know too much of what it was about, but knew it was pretty well regarded and highly acclaimed. I gotta say I was not disappointed at all. I think it's safe to say it's in my top 2 romantic comedies at the moment.

Thoughts?

Probably that...or Annie Hall or Princess Bride. If those two are romantic comedies.

I keep meaning to watch this and keep forgetting. That'll be next on my list.

It's in the top 5 for sure. One of my favorite movies.

Wasn't wild about it. I don't know why really, can't put a finger on it. I've only seen it once but remember not caring for it too much. Part of the problem may be that I saw Definitely, Maybe right around the same time and love the hell out of that one. That's up there in my top 2 with WHMS.

I consider Wedding Crashers a romcom so I would say it is my favorite.

Kinda. I'm not sure if there really are any SET parameters for what is and isn't, but I've always considered that a straight comedy. I guess in my opinion (which is just that, not saying I'm 'right' by any means) a romcom is a little more dramatic/romantic with some comedy thrown in. Wedding crashers to me seems more like a comedy that has a few relationship elements thrown in.

I went out and bought it the day after I saw it. Feel kinda gay for that BUT, whenever I start dating someone, the first time they come over I throw that on and instantly win points.
