Heading up to a lake north of Knoxville in a couple weeks. What are some good local beers up there? What is availability like (sold in grocery stores)?

I'm not sure about Knoxville, but Nashville and Chattanooga have a lot of breweries.

I'm more interested in grocery store availability. Looks like the county I'll be in is not dry, so I'm guessing I'll be ok.

Grocery selection is different in TN. It's all under 6.5% abv. Higher gravity is in liquor stores. Yazoo and Highland are usually found in grocery stores.

Tennessee, thanks to it's separate store laws and crazy high taxes, is somewhat hit or miss on beers. A lot of the local breweries don't make many big beers. Almost all of the stuff in liquor stores is from out of state.
